During the EHS congress there will be a resident track, especially organized for surgical residents and young surgeons. Experts will chair these tracks. We aim for an interactive approach and would like to invite you to provide us with your questions or case(s). Besides this, some lecturers from the precourse “New Techniques Cadaver Lab” will present their technique during the resident track. Be there!
On Sunday, June 5th in the afternoon (18.00 – 19.00) the track will be about incisional hernias.
Invited chairs: Dr. Montgomery / Dr. Morales Conde
Dr. Muysoms will tell us about the post component separation technique.
Prof. dr. Lange will present the Rives-Stoppa with sutureless mesh- technique.
On Monday, June 6th during lunchtime (13.00 – 13.30) the track will be about inguinal hernia.
Invited chairs: Dr. Simons / Prof. dr. Miserez
Dr. Akkersdijk will inform you about the TREPP technique for inguinal hernia repair.
On Monday afternoon (16.15 – 17.15) the topic will be ‘The best way to learn / teach hernia surgery’.
Invited chairs: Prof. dr. van Goor en Prof. dr. Klein Rensink.
Dr. Roumen will present his ACNES neurectomy technique.
On Tuesday, June 7th (13.00 – 13.30) the topic will be ‘Complications after hernia surgery’.
Invited chairs: Prof. Lange / Dr. de Beaux.
Dr. Chen has been invited to present his laparoscopic 3D neurectomy.
On Tuesday afternoon (17.00 -18.00) the track will be sponsored by MedTronic.
We will discuss several cases.

‘Music meets science’
Tune in for the ‘Open Stage’ night on Tuesday 7th of June! This night, every participant can join on stage, either singing or playing an instrument. Of course, the legendary ‘Jazztosterones’ will be present on stage.
